Buttonbag is a young innovative company breathing new life into old crafts by updating them in a fresh, contemporary way. Since founding the company in 2005 they have grown from making the kits on a kitchen table and selling at a stall at London’s Greenwich market to a design and manufacturing studio in the heart of London’s old traditional textile district in the East End.

Their lovely craft kits are designed and made in the UK using a range of beautiful fabrics, wools and trimmings. They endeavour to source everything as close to home as possible and the vast majority of the kit components, including the packaging, comes from the UK.

Buttonbag craft kits are the perfect way to introduce children to sewing and the thrill and satisfaction of making their own toys and fun accessories. Not all the kits involve needle and thread – there’s plenty of cutting and gluing to get stuck into, but all of the unique craft kits enable children to enjoy the pleasure of saying, “I made this!” Importantly, each craft kit contains everything needed to make the finished item.
